Junior girls, you're just one semester away to be seniors! There are many more milestones for you girls to create and complete! Take a step at a time and you would realise that you're progressing steadily and efficiently! :D

ooohh...looks like zipped front hoodies are leading the way, a check on the poll list shows a whooping 98 votes, keep fighting people, thats the spirit! Schools started, training as usual, been training hard to make improvements and learning new stunts, and yeah ! two performances coming up. Its been a while since we last did an external performance, this time lenny's got a couple of call for performances this week.
We've been invited to perform for the Gala Premier of "The Game Plan" and guess whos starring in it?

If you haven't guess, yeah..its..THE ROCK !!! in our case..it was THE PEBBLE. GO KL! You're the cutest pebble ever. Well, not only is The Rock starring in this movie, if you haven't heard from the radios, hes actually making an appearance later on at Vivo City to grace, i mean wrestle the premiere of his latest comedy flick, "The Game Plan".
If you've got nothing better to do, be there or be square. Its a great chance to catch a hollywood star here in Singapore. I wonder why he decided to come ? Maybe he heard of Xiao Guilin, and the beautiful rocks that beautify the place. Tsk..tsk... Well rock or no rock, its gonna be an experience welcoming an international star like Dwayne Jonson (did i get his name right?), someone please shout,CHAR KWAY TEO ! if he ever asks us to guess what hes cooking again. For this Gala, the event company request two performances, our usual remixed 2007 national routine and another height and stage restricted routine to welcome THE ROCK. We've been working on it for the past 2 days, trying to get everything right. Heres our very own sneak preview of the new mini routine. If you wonder whats with the cheer, we're cheering for BOSTON, REBELS. The NFL football team, THE ROCK is playing for in the movie.

Due to a high demand of a customised magnum jacket for 2008, i have decided to meet that demand. I'll be designing a jacket to the theme of our 2008 nationals routine, which i will not be revealing at all. Please make an effort to place your votes on the style of jacket you prefer before 31st October this year. If you really prefer that style and hope the design will be base on that style, you are allowed to obssesively place votes (unfortunately, if i'm not wrong, you're only allowed one vote per computer). Don't worry, your name will not appear at all, therefore your identity will be kept secret. The pictures allocated on the poll, are designated for a male body, but please be sensable enough to know that styles are unisex. If you still do not understand the styles, please go and step or bang your head on the door. You can ask XY, cynthia or Peishi for tips on how to do that. Graduated seniors can place your orders as soon as the polls are closed. You can refer to the sizes of the 2005 Jackets for your next order. The more orders the cheaper the jacket. So you can order one for everyday of your life i also don't mind.

I'm starting a new post, a post that will be uphold into a tradition. As cheerleadering aka performing sport, requires us to lead a crowd of thousands and to show our stuff in front of lowly spirited and least likely to be openly enthusiastic Singaporeans. AHEM... We need to dare to be different, step up with confidence and show them our pride. Lenny always says, a true performer is one who is not afraid to show his/her bad side..aka BUI PAI SEH ! skin must be smooth but as thick as PATRICIA MOK. Theres no better way to do that then to make a difference by stepping out of your comfort zone...LET IT ALL GO. This post can and will only showcase fugly pictures. Seacon Square National Cheerleading Competition is back!
Seriously, who knew thailand would produce such magnificiantly inclined cheerleaders. To us their definitely one of the worlds best, with impressive techniques, great agility and flexiblity, heart-thumping dance moves and cute thai-cultured cheers, these cheerleaders makes us all look bad. It is such great inspiration alone to just be there and watch this once in a year competition. If you have no idea what we're talking about, please buy your air tickets now and fly your spirited butt to Bangkok for the FINALs on 16th November 2007. Some of us will be there, i think, for now to support Bangkok U.
Yesh, and did we mention how much we miss you guys ?! Toey if ya reading this, Magnum miss BU mak mak, rutnapchupchup, BU will be champions again this year, we love you nah and give you POWER ! SA PI LI ! SAY HEY ! HEY HEY !

Yesh HEROES is back! Tim kring, creator of this hit NBC series, end the last season with a sneak peak of volume two (season 2), i remember how Hiro (Masi Oka) fell from the sky into the shadow of his own heroe, only to realise he was about to become roast sushi ! Damn, did the long wait sure came worthy.

What really caught me in one of the episode is a cheerleading scene; full-blonded girls challenging each other for popularity, acting like their on top of the world. funny thing is, they were doing back tucks down from a tower onto a crash mat lah. Its interesting to see how they practice their back tucks. Claire (Hayden Panettiere) got a nasty bruise attempting that stunt, and everytime she recovers from em' nasty injuries in a flash...sigh....ENVY.
Niwaez, Claire's really starting to grow up eh, new school, new cheerleading team, meets new guy (he has powers too)...heard shes even gonna do some cheering in one of the upcoming episodes. Still wondering how shes gonna save the world thou.

My my, If it ain't our very own Shaun Leong's "BIG 21" . Girls ( & guys), you can catch your breath right now, cause NOPE ! , 21 is definitely not the size of his DING DONG. He will probably shoot 21 excuses to say it is, but bite-size...nah...nibble-size, is the most you're gonna get. This is an invitation to a MASS........gathering, to celebrate SHAWOON's manhood...i mean adulthood. If turning 21, is not an excuse to party, i don't know what is.

1) Its a 12pm pot luck picnic cum bbq (don't ask me why, but its his idea, the birthday boy gets what he wants...)...see, when one peng finish chicken wing, one can mince it all up and make mayo sandwich, then go cross legs on the grass happily every after. This is mainly an initiative to keep our many generations closely updated about upcomings and whats happening and also an informative site to all who wants to be crazy cheerleaders like us.
was seating down and thinking real hard on what should be our first entry. what we really wanna do is to introduce magnum through one entry and really, the only way is through this. it was shown at the recent EGM(emergency general meeting) and buckets of tears resurfaced. even had a song composed for the event..."Our Song", search it out on youtube or fellow magnees blogs, it has been uploaded.
Singwei from NP mass comm created this video, initially as his project for SPH. His idea was to portray the journey of magnum towards competition, our goals, visions, the way we trained for competition and how we truly felt. he really did an amazing job with all that footage. The video really brought us back and was a great motivation for all of us. we prefer to call it an unfinished journey, a route we'll continue to take as long as our magnum life permits. Not gonna start talking about the past, cause we've definitely moved on and this family is stronger than before. but really, this video is really what magnum's all about, training hard to meet goals, going through difficulties together and staying positive for one another.
