Hello Magnum Fresies! Captain here giving you very important information! It's for the benefit for your future in magnum! So please read EVERYTHING okay! (:


Firstly, during debrief I always emphasized on how gymming is so important for Cheerleading! Strength (from the gym) plus techniques (from trainings) makes wonders! We must tackle on both, neither one can be left undone. So firstly I will teach you all briefly on how to gym for cheerleading! (:


For GUYS you have to emphasize on training your wrist, shoulders, triceps, core, and legs. A few gym exercises that I can recommend are: Arnold Press, Shoulder Press, Dead Lifts, Squats, Upward Row, Triceps dips, leg lifts and all kinds of abs exercises, etc etc.


For GIRLS, almost the same as the guys, emphasized on training your wrist, shoulders, triceps, biceps, core and legs. A few gym exercises that I can recommend are: Arnold Press, Shoulder Press, Dead Lifts, Squats, Upward Row, Triceps dips, Biceps curl, leg lifts and all kinds of abs exercises, etc etc. Also you must RUN FREQUENTLY and CONTROL YOUR DIET to cut down on your weight, but at the same time gaining muscle mass.


For PEOPLE who have NO TIME FOR GYM, some home exercises you all can do are push ups, sit ups, handstands (PLS ONLY DO AFTER WE HAVE TAUGHT YOU), leg raises, squats, straddle lifts, etc etc.


If you don't understand the terms, it's best you ask the gym instructor on how to execute the exercises, or if possible you can always meet up with seniors for gymming sessions! 


But one thing that is very important: to make your gymming 'journey' PROGRESSIVE. There is no point in staying at the same weights for a few months without improving. It will eventually be a waste a your precious time. Remember to push yourself! You can do it one! A human body can work wonders! You will be surprised! JIAYOUS! :D


ALSO, very importantly, PLEASE STRETCH FOR BOTH GUYS AND GIRLS! It is easier to stretch (not as painful) when you are warmed-up. Flexibility have a lot of benefits such as to loosen your muscles and also to prevent yourself from getting injured easily. Girls need flexibility for stunts elements next time and guys need it for a nice toetouch and pike! VERY IMPORTANT SO PLEASE STRETCH EVERYDAY!
